I might be not a right person to talk about this, I might not the most religious person, but I want to share something that I found few days ago.
I was on my way home from Plaza Singapura, two ladies approached. They introduced themselves, they are koreans, and asked if I can help them with a survey. They said it's just a very simple survey and it would take only 2 minutes to do.
So, anyway, I said ok, I will do the survey. There are 5 questions, and I need to fill them in. Well, the survey is about Christianity and your thoughts about it. So, when I fill in, they started asking questions like: are you Christian? Do you know about Christmas?
I answer whatever I feel is correct. Then suddenly one of the lady said, we want to preach you about Christianity, we will show this video. Because I feel everything is weird, so I refuse to watch the video, but yet she still said, it will just take 2 minutes, and she kept telling I should watch it. I was unhappy with her treatment, then I just said bluntly that people will not be happy if you force them to see the video. I think if people say no, then just leave them alone.
They seems very shocked with what I said, I myself believe in God, but I will not force people to go to church, or preach about Christianity. This thing is very common and t's not happened to me only, some of my friends told me about how they don't like Christians, because they force them to go to church. Church become very commercial, my friend said, it's almost like multilevel marketing. How sad is that?
